Bible Text: Matthew 26:1-16Series: Holy Week 2023 | Jesus’ disciples are disgruntled when a woman poured expensive perfume on Jesus’ head.  But Jesus challenges them to see this act from another viewpoint.

Focus Verses:
12By pouring this perfume over my body she’s prepared me to be buried
13I tell you the truth that wherever in the whole world this good news is announced, what she’s done will also be told in memory of her.”

We encourage you to read the entire story found in the Gospel of Matthew 26:1-16, and think about these questions:

Where do we see hostility and jealousy in our world?
What small jealousies and betrayals have we been ensnared by, and how can we remove them, then make amends?

Prayer:  Holy God, prevent us from allowing our bitterness or disappointment in others lead us to harm them in thought or deed. Amen.
