The Youth Group at First Christian Church meets at
6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every Wednesday!
At First Christian Church we believe that young people are the Church of TODAY. Preteens and teenagers have gifts, life experiences, insight and wisdom that are absolutely essential for our life together as the Church! Consequently, we strive to find ways for youth to be heard as well as seen, opportunities for youth to lead as well as follow, and venues for youth to teach as well as learn. Beyond these principles for full youth participation, we are a God-centered community.
Our Mission
To foster Christian communities that are:
~attentive to God’s presence
~discerning of the Spirit, and
~committed to accompanying young people in the Way of Jesus.
Each week, we eat a meal together to give you energy for a really great evening. So bring a friend and enjoy – God has a reason for you to be there!

Accept one another
Affirm one another
and be Active
To accept one another is just what it says… we are an open group and are happy when new and old friends come to join in. Without exception, everyone is welcome and whole heartedly accepted.
To affirm means, in general, to lift one another up. We are a positive group and look at one another’s strengths. This is a place where you can come without any pretenses. Gossip, bad mouthing one another and any other variation of being negative are totally out.
To be active implies that when we are able to be at youth group events, we participate in whatever is going on. If we come, we are involved. It’s more fun when we are all on the same page from the beginning.
